After outslugging the Indians (0-2) for a 15-10 victory Friday, the White Sox picked up where they left off with five runs in the first two innings Saturday en route to an 8-3 win.
Carlos Quentin and Gordon Beckham have each gone 5 for 8, with Quentin contributing three doubles, a home run and seven RBIs and Beckham scoring four runs. Dunn has three hits and five RBIs in his first two games with Chicago.
"We're happy right now," said Edwin Jackson, Saturday's winner. "Look around the clubhouse, it's pretty loose and relaxed. That's part of the game. You win when you go out and have fun, and that's what we're doing right now."
Another victory would make the White Sox 3-0 for the first time since 1992, when they swept the California Angels with current manager Ozzie Guillen playing shortstop.
Chicago discouraged Saturday's sparse Cleveland crowd of 9,853 -- the smallest since Progressive Field opened in 1994. It hasn't helped that starters Fausto Carmona and Carlos Carrasco have combined to allow 17 runs in 9 2/3 innings, a trend Justin Masterson hopes to end Sunday.
"We need to put up some zeros early in the game to give our offense a better chance to come back," manager Manny Acta said. "We've put ourselves in a hole two straight games and that makes it tough to come back.
"It's way too early. I feel good about my team. I'm not going to judge my team on two games."
Masterson struggled through an inconsistent 2010, going 6-13 with a 4.70 ERA, but he posted a 3.09 ERA in five appearances -- four starts -- against Chicago.
The Jamaican-born right-hander will look to extend Quentin's 0-for-11 drought against him and build on a strong finish to last season. He went 2-1 with a 2.25 ERA in his final six starts before finishing the year in the bullpen to limit his innings.
Counterpart John Danks returns to the mound -- despite a tooth infection that required a trip to the dentist Saturday -- after another steady year. He went 15-11 with a 3.72 ERA in 2010, the third consecutive season he's made at least 32 starts and finished with an ERA below 3.80.
The left-hander was especially sharp last April, going 3-0 with a 1.55 ERA. Danks has won his last two starts in Cleveland, including a three-hitter in a 6-1 win Sept. 28, 2009.
The White Sox have won six straight at Progressive Field, sweeping their last series there Aug. 30-Sept. 1.
The Indians' offense rallied for 10 runs in the final four innings Friday, but Chicago's bullpen was much better Saturday, with Chris Sale and Sergio Santos combining for three shutout innings.
"That was big for us," Guillen said. "When you take the lead, you want to keep the lead."
Shin-Soo Choo, Cleveland's leader in most important offensive categories last year, is off to a sluggish start. He has one hit in nine at-bats after going 0 for 4 with four strikeouts Saturday.
