"We've got some guys who can throw the heck of the ball," Weaver said. "I'll take any of those guys coming in after me and they were able to get the job done tonight."
Chatwood (0-1, 7.20 ERA) was unable to get the job done Monday in his major league debut. The 21-year-old right-hander allowed four runs and four hits -- two home runs -- over five innings of a 4-0 loss to Cleveland.
"There was a lot of adrenaline going through me," said Chatwood, who walked four. "I felt confident the whole time and just tried to attack the zone and get ahead early in the count. I'm not satisfied with my outing because I didn't keep my team in the game and we lost. But I've just got to learn from it."
He'll face a White Sox lineup that managed only five hits Friday. After Adam Dunn's two-run homer in the sixth, Chicago was held to one hit. Paul Konerko and Carlos Quentin each went 0 for 4 with a strikeout.
Konerko is 1 for 13 the last three games after batting .421 to open the season.
Despite back-to-back losses, which includes Wednesday's 7-4, 10-inning defeat to Oakland in which the team blew a three-run lead in the ninth, the White Sox feel they can end this 10-game homestand on a good note.
"I feel confident about our team, we can very easily have a better record. Let's put it this way, if this is the worst we're going to play and we're still winning games I think that's real positive," Gordon Beckham said.
The White Sox will try to bounce back when they send Gavin Floyd (1-0, 2.40) to the mound.
Floyd was impressive against Tampa Bay on Sunday, allowing one unearned run and four hits in eight innings of a 6-1 victory. He struck out eight.
"I felt real strong, comfortable out there," he said. "I have confidence in myself to go out there and compete. I just go out there and concentrate on the mitt."
The right-hander is 2/3 with a 3.68 ERA in six starts against the Angels, but is 2-1 with a 2.90 ERA in four starts against them at home.
Izturis is 11 for 21 with four doubles and six RBIs during a six-game hitting streak against the White Sox. He is 5 for 17 against Floyd with two doubles.
AngelsWith rookie Tyler Chatwood making his second career start, the Angels may need another strong outing from their relievers as they aim to win their fourth straight Saturday against the Chicago White Sox.
