Texas Rangers vs New York Yankees live streaming major league baseball audio video feed online coverage webcast soapcast espn 360 gamecast april 15, 2011. Game Review: Superb pitching was a major reason the Texas Rangers marched to their first pennant last fall, unseating the New York Yankees as the reigning AL champions.
Harrison looks to continue his hot start Friday night when the Rangers open a three-game set in the Bronx for the first time since dethroning the Yankees.
In its first playoff appearance in 11 years, Texas (9-3) went on to claim the AL pennant after besting New York (7-4) in six games of the championship series, winning two of three at Yankee Stadium.
The Rangers had a 2.76 ERA while going 7-4 in playoff matchups with Tampa Bay and New York. However, that ballooned to 5.86 in World Series play as Texas lost to San Francisco in five games.

The staff has impressed already this season, compiling a 2.55 ERA while holding opponents to a paltry .206 average.
Harrison (2-0, 1.29 ERA) has been an unexpected part of that success.
The left-hander wasn't part of the Rangers' postseason roster after going 3-2 with a 4.71 ERA in 37 games, including six starts. However, he's limited batters to a .143 average so far.
Harrison was outstanding again Saturday, yielding one run and two hits in seven innings of a 13-1 win at Baltimore. Now, he'll make his first appearance in New York, but isn't intimidated.
"Pitching in a ballpark like that for the first time, with all the history, should be pretty special," Harrison told the team's official website. "But you still have to make pitches.
"It shouldn't matter who we're playing or where you're pitching. You have a game plan and you have a scouting report. If you stick to that, you'll be fine."
Harrison is 1-1 with a 7.53 ERA in five games -- two starts -- against the Yankees.
The Rangers are looking to avoid a third straight loss after falling 3-2 at Detroit Wednesday as Darren Oliver served up a walkoff homer to Brandon Inge.
The Yankees, meanwhile, enter this series looking for a season-high third straight win. They moved past Baltimore atop the AL East by overcoming a five-run, fifth-inning deficit en route to a 6-5, 10-inning win over the Orioles on Thursday.
"Our guys kept kinda chippin' away ... but our guys have the ability to do that," manager Joe Girardi said.
Alex Rodriguez may be searching for a bit of redemption against one of his former clubs after going 4 for 21 with two RBIs in the ALCS. He's on a tear over the last four games -- 8 for 13 with two homers, five RBIs and six runs.
Rodriguez is batting .412 with four homers, nine RBIs and 11 runs in 2011, and he's 4 for 7 with two doubles off Harrison.
Unlike Harrison, Ivan Nova (1-0, 6.10) is having a tough time settling into the rotation after being left off the Yankees' postseason roster.
The rookie right-hander, who is scheduled to face Texas for the first time, lasted just 4 1/3 innings Saturday and gave up four runs and seven hits with three walks and one hit batter in a 9-4 win at Boston.
Nova will not have to face Josh Hamilton, and the Rangers will surely miss the reigning AL MVP. Hamilton, who could miss up to two months with a broken upper arm suffered earlier this week, had two solo homers on Oct. 19 as the Rangers defeated the Yankees 10-3 in Game 4 of the ALCS in New York.
RangersThe staff has been even better this year, and Matt Harrison has been a surprising contributor.
