San Diego Padres vs Houston Astros live streaming major league audio video baseball feed online coverage with radio commentary espn 360 gamecast webcast april 15, 2011. Game Review: Pitching for his hometown San Diego Padres might be helping Aaron Harang revive his career.
Though Harang (2-0, 1.50 ERA) had consecutive 16-win seasons with Cincinnati in 2006 and 2007, he went 18-38 with a 4.71 ERA during his final three injury-riddled years with the Reds. That did not prevent the Padres from signing the San Diego native to a one-year, $3.5 million deal.
"He's been extremely motivated to get back to a level of performance that he was accustomed to for a number of years there in Cincinnati," manager Bud Black told the Padres' official website.
After giving up a run in six innings against San Francisco, Harang allowed two runs -- one earned -- and three hits in six innings of a 7-2 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday.

Harang will try to carry over his success to the road for the first time in 2011. He is 6-5 with a 4.00 ERA at Minute Maid Park, and has a 3.00 ERA while winning three straight overall against the Astros.
Harang hopes to get more support than teammate Dustin Moseley received in Thursday's 1-0 loss to Houston. Moseley has started all three times San Diego has been shut out this season.
The Padres (5-7) managed three hits off starter Bud Norris and three Astros relievers. San Diego also went 0 for 8 with runners in scoring position after going 2 for 22 in that situation while dropping two of three in its previous series with Cincinnati.
"We've got to keep grinding it out," outfielder Ryan Ludwick said. "You always hear the phrase: 'Hitting's contagious.' Hopefully the contagiousness goes on the positive side here in a minute."
Though the Padres are hitting .206, second baseman Orlando Hudson went 1 for 2 with two walks on Thursday to raise his average to .326. He is batting .457 his last 10 games versus Houston, but will get his first look at scheduled starter J.A. Happ (1-1, 6.17).
After he gave up seven runs and walked five in four innings April 5 at Cincinnati, Happ bounced back to allow a run with four hits in 7 2/3 innings of a 7-1 win over Florida on Sunday.
"I was trying to get ahead of hitters and pitch aggressively," Happ said. "More or less just have some conviction with what I'm throwing and be aggressive with it. (Sunday) was a lot better."
The left-hander was in control in his only previous start versus San Diego, allowing four hits in seven scoreless innings of a 5-1 win while with Philadelphia on June 3, 2009.
Michael Bourn singled home Thursday's lone run in the sixth inning as Houston (4-9) improved to 3-4 on its opening 10-game homestand.
Though Houston's Carlos Lee is batting .212, he is 16 for 40 (.400) lifetime with four doubles and a homer against Harang.
Astros third baseman Chris Johnson expects to be in the lineup Friday after missing the last two games with a sore arm. Johnson apparently still has a job despite batting .189 while replacement Matt Downs went 4 for 6 the last two games.
PadresThe veteran right-hander looks to win three consecutive starts to open a season for the first time while trying to help the Padres even their four-game road set with the Houston Astros on Friday night.
