After cruising 6-2 Friday, Oakland followed that up with a 4-2 win Saturday. Coco Crisp's sixth-inning single snapped a 2-all tie, and Mark Ellis hit his first homer of the year in the eighth to close to scoring.
That helped Josh Outman get his first win in almost two years following Tommy John surgery.
"My first win in a while. That's a plus," said Outman, who was a little unhappy after matching a career high with five walks in six innings.
Regardless, it was another solid effort against a team the A's probably wish they could face more. Starting with the 2008 season, the Athletics are 19-4 against the Orioles -- including 11-1 at home -- and have outscored them 125-65.
"This has always been, this time of year, an unfriendly place," Baltimore manager Buck Showalter said of playing in Oakland.
Making it to 20 wins may not be so easy for the A's against star rookie Zach Britton.
Having finally gotten some run support in his last game, Britton (5-2, 2.35 ERA) will be looking for his first win in five starts while making his first appearance against Oakland.
The left-hander hasn't posted a win since beating the White Sox on May 1 in Chicago, but he's certainly done his part to keep Baltimore (24-26) in games. In his last four starts, Britton is 0-1 with a 1.98 ERA, allowing just six earned runs in 27 1/3 innings.
The Orioles have supported him with only two runs in that span, both coming Tuesday against Kansas City. He gave up three runs and nine hits over six innings before Baltimore rallied for a 5-3 win.
With a victory, Britton would tie Seattle's Michael Pineda for most wins among rookies.
Adam Jones and Craig Tatum had run-scoring singles as the Orioles were held to six hits for the second straight game Saturday. Vladimir Guerrero also singled and is hitting .368 during a 13-game hitting streak.
To try and secure another sweep, the A's (26-27) are hoping Guillermo Moscoso's second career start is as good as his first.
Making his season debut last Tuesday, the right-hander limited the Angels to three hits and three walks in six scoreless innings as Oakland snapped a six-game skid with a 6-1 win.
"I'm very happy with the job I did today, and when the team has six losses, I've got a pretty big responsibility," said Moscoso, who is filling in for the injured Tyson Ross (oblique).
But Moscoso, who totaled 11 appearances in 2009 and 2010 with Texas, has no record and a 16.20 ERA in two games against Baltimore.
