The Tampa Bay Rays will try to add to that when they send red-hot James Shields to the mound against the visiting Yankees in the finale of the two-game series. Ivan Nova goes for New York, which has dropped to 7-8 on the road and is 3-10 in its last 13 games. Yankees set-up man Rafael Soriano is also out indefinitely with a stiff right elbow. The Rays, despite an 11-12 home record, have a three-game lead in the American League East.
