Cardinals vs Dodgers live streaming links 4/16. Game Review: Los Angeles Dodgers starter Clayton Kershaw seems to be in an unfortunate position.
Riding an amazing offensive surge, the Cardinals will try to hand Kershaw's Dodgers a fifth straight loss Saturday night at Chavez Ravine.
St. Louis (7-7) has 82 hits over its last five games, with at least 14 in each of them. The last time the Cardinals had at least 14 hits in five straight games was a franchise-record six-game run Aug. 31-Sept. 7, 1930.
Lance Berkman and Albert Pujols had two home runs apiece games in Friday's 11-2 rout. Pujols has three homers and four RBIs in the first two contests of this four-game set after a 10-game homerless drought.

"It's a burst and it's not something that you can look to continue every game the rest of the season," Berkman said. "That was predicted to be a strength of this team coming into the season and it's good to see we've been able to string some games here where that's been the case."
Los Angeles (6-8), meanwhile, has eight homers all season. Matt Kemp has five hits and three RBIs in this series to lead the Dodgers, and Jamey Carroll has added four hits against the Cardinals, but their offense simply hasn't been able to keep up overall.
St. Louis' Matt Holliday and Colby Rasmus are each 5 for 10 in this series. Rasmus has five straight multi-hit efforts during an eight-game hitting streak.
Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina entered the series with five hits in 33 at-bats, but has six hits through the first two games including a 4-for-4 effort in Friday's win.
Both Dodgers starters in this series have allowed five runs, with Hiroki Kuroda lasting five innings in Thursday's 9-5 victory and Jon Garland pitching only four-plus frames Friday.
"They seem to be hitting everything thrown up there, and they're doing a pretty damn good job of it," Garland said of the Cardinals.
Kershaw (2-1, 1.37 ERA) has been the most consistent Dodgers starter. He pitched 6 2/3 scoreless innings Sunday to earn a 6-1 victory at San Francisco, striking out seven to bring his season total to 24.
The left-hander is 2-1 with a 3.00 ERA in six career outings against the Cardinals.
Pujols is 6 for 12 with three doubles off Kershaw, and Holliday is 5 for 14 with six walks. None of the other St. Louis regulars have had more than nine at-bats against him, with Molina 2 for 9, Skip Schumaker 0 for 7 and the red-hot Berkman 1 for 5.
The Cardinals have won the first two starts this year by Kyle McClellan (1-0, 2.25) heading into the first of his career against Los Angeles. The right-hander gave up one run over six innings in his first career victory as a starter, 8-2 at Arizona on Monday.
The converted reliever has posted a 1.69 ERA in 10 career appearances against the Dodgers, including three scoreless innings on the road.
The Dodgers are 2-6 when facing a right-handed starter.
