Los Angeles Dodgers v San Diego Padres live streaming major league baseball video feed online radio commentary espn 360 gamecast april 9, 2011 The Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Diego Padres have unfinished business, and interruptions should be unlikely.
At least, they're hoping that will be the case.
A night after a series of lengthy rain delays, the Dodgers and Padres will conclude the opener of this series before moving into Saturday night's regularly scheduled contest at Petco Park.
Los Angeles (3-3) and San Diego (3-2) were tied 2-all in the top of the ninth early Saturday morning before umpires opted to suspend the game, which had endured four rain delays totaling 3 hours, 36 minutes. The stoppages were a rarity for a Padres' home game, as they endured two delays all of last season -- the longest lasting 22 minutes against Chicago on Sept. 30.

"I've seen a lot of them like this," said Dodgers manager Don Mattingly, who played his whole career with the New York Yankees. "East Coast, we played a lot of these on and off, and on and off."
Friday's game will be resumed at 5:35 p.m. local time before that night's regularly scheduled game.
The contest will restart in the top of the ninth with the Dodgers having a runner on first with no outs. The weather isn't expected to play a factor since the forecast is calling for 58 degrees and a 10 percent chance of rain in San Diego.
The Padres have the chance to extend their home winning streak over the Dodgers to seven by getting two victories Saturday. Excluding Friday's unfinished meeting, San Diego has a 19-6 scoring advantage in the last five matchups at Petco.
That success includes a 0.53 ERA from the bullpen, which will be relied upon early.
The Padres give Dustin Moseley (0-1, 1.29 ERA) a second start in place of the injured Mat Latos (shoulder), who will return to the rotation Monday against Cincinnati.
Moseley may prefer a little help this time.
The right-hander got his first career hit Sunday, but the rest of the lineup mustered three while he yielded one run in seven innings of a 2-0 loss at St. Louis.
"He has a great head and shoulders on him, he knows how to pitch, he's got an efficient delivery and a good arm stroke," manager Bud Black told the team's official website. "As the season unfolds, he is a guy who could be valuable for us."
Moseley has spent the majority of his previous five seasons as a reliever for the Los Angeles Angels and New York Yankees. He's faced the Dodgers twice in that capacity, throwing two scoreless innings for the Angels in 2007.
The Dodgers, 0-2 on the road, turn to Hiroki Kuroda (1-0, 3.86), who is trying to win his first two starts of a season for the first time.
The right-hander allowed three runs and six hits, including two homers, in seven innings of a 7-5 win over San Francisco on Sunday.
He's 5-4 with a 4.61 ERA in 10 career starts versus San Diego, splitting four at Dodger Stadium. He was superb in his most recent meeting against the Padres, yielding one run in eight innings of a 3-1 victory Sept. 23.
Matt Kemp had three hits with one RBI before Friday's game was suspended. The center fielder entered the series 6 for 19 with three doubles, one homer and three RBIs through the first six games.
Los Angeles has a .155 average over its last five visits to San Diego, not including Friday's incomplete matchup.
At least, they're hoping that will be the case.
