Making his first start since coming up just short of his second career no-hitter, Sanchez will try to help the NL East-leading Marlins win their fifth straight at home against the Los Angeles Dodgers in Wednesday's series finale.
After scoring twice off Dodgers closer Jonathan Broxton in the ninth inning of Monday's 5-4 victory, the Marlins (15-7) posted a 4-2 win Tuesday behind seven strong innings from Chris Volstad.
Manager Edwin Rodriguez's team has won 10 of 12 to move one-half game ahead of Philadelphia for the division lead.

The Marlins, winners of nine of 11 at home, will give the ball to Sanchez (1-1, 3.55 ERA) as they conclude a nine-game stretch in Miami. In his last start, the right-hander struck out a career-high nine and threw a one-hitter in Friday's 4-1 victory over Colorado.
Sanchez, who surrendered 26 hits in his first three outings, did not allow a hit until Dexter Fowler's broken-bat single led off the ninth inning.
"Everything was working today," Sanchez, who threw a no-hitter in his 13th career start Sept. 6, 2006, told the Marlins' official website. "... I know I am throwing harder than last year. I'm feeling it right now. I'm using my breaking ball for strikeouts."
He is 0-1 with a 3.00 ERA in three starts against the Dodgers.
Sanchez will try to help the Marlins sweep Los Angeles at home for the first time since Sept. 6-8, 1999.
The Dodgers (12-13), who have dropped three of four, conclude their six-game trip with Chad Billingsley (2-1, 4.13) on the mound. The right-hander opened the club's stretch away from Los Angeles by giving up two runs -- one earned -- and seven hits in Friday's 12-2 win over the Chicago Cubs.
"I was able to locate the ball down in the zone and get some groundballs today," said Billingsley, 1-0 with a 0.63 ERA in his last two outings.
Billingsley is 4-0 with a 1.69 ERA in five starts against Florida. The last time he faced the Marlins, he struck out a career-best 13 in a 9-1 victory July 13, 2008.
Dodgers right fielder Andre Ethier will look to extend his career-best hitting streak to 24 games after a first-inning RBI double Tuesday gave him a major league record for the longest streak in April.
Ethier is batting .412 (28 for 68) with 15 RBIs in his last 20 games against Florida, but he has no hits in six at-bats against Sanchez.
James Loney, 2 for 5 against Sanchez, tied a career high with four hits Tuesday. The first baseman broke out of a 7-for-45 (.156) slump and raised his average to .204.
"I was trying to be so perfect," Loney said.
Marlins shortstop Hanley Ramirez, batting .211, has also gained confidence during this series. After snapping an 0-for-17 funk Monday with a pinch-hit single in the ninth inning, he went 2 for 4 on Tuesday.
"It's better," Ramirez said. "Still, I'm not feeling 100 percent at the plate. I have to keep working to get 100 percent, get my timing right, and start to the drive the ball-doubles, triples, and homers."
Ramirez has two hits, including a homer, in 11 at-bats against Billingsley.
